The buttons will still work normally in Gesture mode but give you the option to avoid touching the unit at all. Perfect if you have sticky or busy hands! Like with the Proximity mode, you don’t need to use your hand to use this mode. Any distinct movement in front of the sensor will work, be it a hand, an arm, a leg, or a spanking paddle.
